How can I improve my team?

Post#1 » by CTT » Sat Dec 29, 2012 9:19 pm

Currently 3-5 right now, I'm in a points h2h league with 10 teams. I'm really high on my team but I feel I should be better with the players I have. Any beneficial trades you see? Been disappointed with Love and Lowry thus far.

Pg: Rondo, Lowry, Lou Williams
Sg: Afflalo, George
Sf: Gerald Wallace, MKG
Pf: Love, Aldridge, Zbo, Faried
C: Brook Lopez, Pekovic

Edit: Someone was interested in doing a Zbo for Duncan swap, sounds like a good idea, but I'm not sure what Duncan is doing is sustainable.

Duncan >>>>>>>>>>>>> Zbo are you kidding me

He's been what, top-5 this year? And it's not like it's a scrub. It's Timmy friggin Duncan.

Your team's solid. Not much to do. Stream. Faried/Pek/Afflalo's spots up for grabs depending what's out on your ww.

Thanks for the advice. The guy who would be dealing Duncan hasn't lost and won't trade until he loses a matchup so it's tough to pry him away. Well see though.

The WW sucks there is no one available sadly.

Aside from that you could use more 3s. Gerald Wallace is a problem. But you have to wait for him to pick it up. Big if. He's close to done imo.

Not even a Granger on the WW?

Granger is on the WW, but he isn't returning until Febuary right? Seems like an awful long time to wait.

In H2H, assuming you make the playoffs, the only thing that matters IS the playoffs.

So t50 of Granger for 6-8 weeks is >>> t100 of Faried for 4 months.

The trick (more like guessing game) is to wait until you can't wait any longer, 'til someone else is gonna pick 'em up.

I don't believe that. There is always good players on the waiver in a 10 team league

Got offered Brandon Jennings for my Brook Lopez. While I know it's a bad trade. I was wondering if you thought I could get a worthwhile trade out of him.

His team: (last place)
Westbrook/Jennings/Curry/Lillard/Wall/Rubio
Monta/JR Smith
MWP
Hickson/Kaman
Dwight/Bynum
