Derrick Favors

Favors is easily the least valuable player on my fantasy team right now. He's giving me 9/6/1.5 in an 8 team league.

My team, as currently constructed, has a massive assist surplus because almost all of my guards are PGs. I crush my opponent in assists every week by at least 50. I've been less successful with rebounding. As a result, I'm considering two things:

1. Dumping Tony Parker and Favors in a trade to upgrade rebounding and blocks. I would then pick up JJ Redick to increase my 3pt (where I am somewhat successful) and also make up some of the assist numbers. I also have logjam at PG, so Redick would be a nice replacement as a SG.

2. Hang on to Favors. It sounds like Utah is looking to dump either Jefferson or Millsap in a trade. Lots of people think this will increase Favors' fantasy value.

What do you guys think? Will Utah get rid of Millsap or Al? If they do, what will Favors' numbers look like?

Should I use my massive assist surplus to pick up some rebounds?

Thanks.

It's an 8-team league, dude. Who's g oing to pick him up? Even if they do, who cares?

He's going to be the worst player on most people's rosters. Ergo, he's not going to trade.

Not sure how you could make such a (relative, for da Internets) long post w/o posting your team and settings.

In eight team league this scenario isn't worth thinking this hard. There's probably more value on the WW than what Favors is worth now. His most valuable attribute is the possibility of Utah trading one of their PF so take advantage of that and pack him off in a two for one. Whoever you get in return will be more valuable than a starting PF Favors.
