I am currently in 1st place in a 9cat h2h 12 team league (Yahoo). The top 4 places are neck and neck so I could easily fall to fourth any week. Here is my team:

Monta Ellis
John Wall
Chandler Parsons
Lebron James
Danilo Gallinari
Jason Thompson
Nikola Pekovic
Marcus Thornton
Paul Millsap
Roy Hibbert
JJ Redick
Andre Drummond

I am being offered Chris Paul, Nicolas Batum, and Marcin Gortat for Lebron, John Wall, and Andre Drummond. Should I do this trade? My weakest stats are blocks, TO, rebounds, and my best are 3PTM and PTS.

Sweet deal. Two 1st rounders for LBJ sounds about right. A little riskier than I'd like, but right now the diff between LBJ and Pau is the diff between Batum and Aldridge/Noah. So as long as Wall doesn't become Aldridge/Noah (mid-2nd rounder) when he's back, you win. I'd project Wall's median as a late 3rd rounder, not a 2nd rounder.

The Gortat/Drummond side is the part that really makes me uneasy. Hmm.. Tell him to take that part out and you have a deal.

In general it's too close. When it's within a 55/45 coin flip, I'ma take the best player every time.

Now, what are the odds LBJ sits out at the end of the season? Hmm. Yeah, this is a very intriguing deal. Sit on it for as long as possible.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought getting gortat for Drummond was a steal. I thought gortat was a lot better than Drummond.

I think that Gortat/Drummond swap is what pushes it over the edge for me. But I guess it depends on your opinion on the new interim coach's plan for Gortat in PHX vs Drummond's minutes finally getting increased (if they ever do). I suppose you could wait and see what happens in PHX but if Gortat returns to form then you will probably have to take those two out of the deal because he's not going to want to trade him any longer.

Even in 22 mpg Drummond is putting up 7/7/2.

Dragic is no Steve Nash so I doubt we'll ever see last year again. On a per-minute basis what Gortat is doing now is more similar to what he did in ORL than what he did in PHX. He's a decent starting Center, not a stud or anything.

If Drummond is let loose it doesn't even become close.

In the last month Drummond has actually been ~30 spots > than Gortat.

Wall keeps looking better and better, too.

It's a fair offer as much as I love Paul and Batum I am inclined to say NO. It comes down to health for me. Lebron is the most durable player in that deal

Drummomd has the potential to outshine Detroit if let loose and Wall has been pretty good really fast.


Chek the playoff schedules and see how LAC and Portland stack up against Mia as well

its an OK trade but i dont do this, you need rebounding bigs that can score, think jefferson, duncan, lee, griffin.

if you have to give up lebron, you try and get two bigs.
