This team is going to win it all

Post#1 » by WhiteMambaLol » Thu Jan 24, 2013 5:55 am

PG: Lillard, Lawson, D Rose
SG: K-Mart, Joe Johnson
SF: Rudy Gay, Granger
PF: Cousins, David West
C: B Lopez, R Lopez, Chandler

Yahoo league, the standard 9 cats (except 3p% not made, and a 10th cat = PF), H2H, 10 teams.

Lawson is starting to gain form, Cousins still being a monster. If Gay gets to his average %'s, and D Rose and Granger come back strong (I know D Rose will, pretty confident in Granger but Paul George being a stud is pissing me off, I hope he gets injured lol).

I am going to crush all the teams with big names and laugh. Apathy, "lmfao at Cousins being top 40, let alone in a league with fouls", well he has been top 20 in my league with fouls lately haha.

The only cats I will lose are steals and potentially fg%. Apathy, come at me bro.

Gay is sucking this season. i have him and just traded him. He won't regain crap if you watch Memphis games.

Lol at D Rose just coming back to form after that injury. Look at Rubio and Shumpert. Did they come back and light it up? Their games are not even so heavily reliant on athletism.

Granger is going to be brought back slow and will take a back seat to George.

Your team is not winning anything.

Haha you are comparing to D Rose to Rubio and Shumpert. This is the reigning mvp you are talking about. By fantasy playoff time Rose will have almost played for 2 months and he will return to dominance and be top 20 fantasy.

Granger will start after about 1 or 2 weeks. He won't play second fiddle to Paul George, plus my crystal ball sees George getting injured.

Gay will come back, I have been watching Memphis games and he is doing everything right he just needs to find his stroke and become a bit more consistent, like he has been in the past. Im glad most people are writing him off, thats why i was able to get him cheap.

Last week, beat the number one team 7-3, currently beating the number 2 team 8-2., will prolly end up beating him 7-3. Haters.

Lebron is a pussy who ran to play with his but buddies D Wade and Bosh. The only players that have the true killer instinct and leadership that MJ had are Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, and Kevin Durant - but he doesn't want it as bad as the other guys I mentioned.

I will bump this thread when this fantasy season is done and I end in 1st, haters. The funniest part is that I got home late for the draft and missed my FIRST 3 picks and still made a boss team, I am so sick.

Over/under bets on his age?

I'll place it at 16. I'll go with the under. Could go either way.

19, pretty close. I would place an over/under bet that my IQ is significantly higher than yours. Considering you said to me in another thread that Klay Thompson is a better fantasy SG than K-Mart (even considering my categories). That is one of the most laughable statements I have read. Another one was that you told me to drop Cousins because he will never get his act together and be consistent enough to be top 40, and not even top 50 in my league with fouls. Well, would you like to place an over/under bet that he will be top 30 by the end of the year?

Anyways, I basically just made this post as a troll thread. However, my team is going to win it all, almost all of my players are on the upswing and haven't reached their ceilings (except K-Mart and Brook Lopez). I am going to likely move Joe Johnson by playoff time but for now I will roll with him since he has been kinda hot.

your team is alright. it could win, but no guarantees. its full of chuckers and big names that people value over actual fantasy output. you have big men who can put up nice numbers, but also bring you down in cats big men shouldnt be bringing you down in. your arrogance regarding your average team is laughable. why would you draft/pick up half those players when you play 3 pt% and not makes? none of those guys are high percentage 3 pt shooters. and lastly, you play with fouls at your 10th cat? have fun with that...

When I was 19 I was a troll too.

I learned a few years back that the most effective way to rape the life of a troll is to ignore them.

All trolls seek is attention. They haven't learned how to receive it due to positive actions, so they act out and learn they can receive it by being negative. Thus a troll is born.

Welcome to the ignore list :)

K-Mart is shooting 3s at 44% and averaging 2.3 made. That is very good. Granger is a pretty good 3 point shooter and with paul george and david west with him he should have less pressure and actually get better looks. D Rose has become a lot better shooter since he got injured, watch some tape, but everyone will see it once he gets back to action. Gay and Lawson are hurting me a bit, but at least Lawson is starting to have good games, Gay can't break 50% fg in a game if his life depended on it this season.

And i just traded joe johnson for ilyasova straight up on my gut feeling that ilyasova is going to go beastmode like he did last year.

well, its nice to see you came to your senses and realized your team wasnt going to win it all the way it was constructed. ersan is a beast, and will probably have a better 3pt percentage this season compared to joe johnson. infact, he was 5 for 6 last night.

PF is a cat?!? haha weird...

I think you have a decent team here, but only decent. It's good across the board, with nothing really punted (except TO). I've always thought that an across-the-board strategy will get you to the playoffs but an effective cat punting strategy will win you championships.

3s, reb, ast, blk, fg% and ft% are on the fence for you.
You are dominant in PTS.
TO and steals, not so much.
No idea about PF.

None of it matters, though, as wishing for an injury to any player is instantly recognized by fantasy Gods. Look for a Rose/Granger rehab complication or else just flat out choking by your entire team.

The Gods work this way.
