I am in a points type league. The scoring for this league is points 1 reb 1 steals 1 assists 1.5 blocks 1.5 and turnovers -1
You play against another team but the scoring is the average of your players for the week added up.
You play 4 G 4 forwards a flex and 1 center
An example would be guard one scores 10 points 5 reb and 1 turnover he gets 14 points that night. the next night he plays that week if he gets a total of 20 points you then take the average of the 2 games so his average for the week would be 17 points
You add up the rest of your players for the week to get a final score. You then have to have a higher score than the team you are playing that week. Are there any rankings out there for this type of scoring? What would your strategy be for something like this? High scoring players are obviously targets and players that play tons of minutes and shoot a lot. You don't have to worry about losing a category in this league. Thoughts?

Thanks!!

This would change any rankings you can find drastically. Points are absolutely extremely valuable. I would rate players based on their combination of points and assists. Are you sure assists are worth 15 and steals are worth only 1? That doesn't make a lot of sense. Seems like it would be the reverse.

If you have that backwards then I would look at guys who average the most assists + rebounds + assists and that should basically be your ranking. Now when you come across a shot blocking center, you might move them up in the rankings a few spots because you are getting the extra bonus points for that. Same with steals if they are 1.5.

Scoring fantasy points per game for the scoring period is done best in Fantrax. You need to select a particular option which gives the required calculation.

Fantrax is the site we use for our league. I Will have to check that out to customize my rankings. Thanks
Yes assists are 1.5 and steals 1. I have argued with the commish on this for years and he never changes it.
