Trade Offer, who wins?

Post#1 » by Coxy » Thu Oct 3, 2019 7:03 am

I've had a trade offer thrown my way, which I think is quite attractive. Who do you guys think wins though?

James Harden
for
Luka Doncic + Julius Randle

Doncic could have a moster season that doesn't end too far off Harden barring injuries. Randle will produce a bunch of counting stats on a team that needs him to be good. Harden's stats also may suffer slightly due to the RW factor in town, possibly.

So, who wins? Would you pull the trigger if you had Harden?

12 team h2h league, standard cats.

Harden is amazing, but the counting stays of the other 2 may eclipse him.

Assuming that this isn’t a dynasty league, the team getting Harden wins easily.

Harden + good waiver wire pickup >>> Doncic + Randle.

And assuming you don’t have huge rosters, in a 12 team league there are always tons of good players on the wire.

I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

yeh im doncics biggest bandwagoner but i wouldnt do that one. as said above would prefer a waiver + harden. randle although will be a top 50 player, he may not be much higher than that given the knicks pf loaded depth chart.

Harden wins, and it is not even close (if we ignore Harden's big injury scenario).

Fantasy value of TOP3 pick is not around #20 (Doncic) and around #60 pick (Randle), but around #20 (Doncic) and around #30 pick, so ask from the other side his 3rd round pick. If you really like his 4th rounder, you can also accept him with Doncic, but that is on your own risk. Or together to Randle to send some late first or early 2nd round pick (TOP15) instead of Doncic.

If you are Doncic+Randle in this deal, accept it without thinking before he offers Harden this cheap someone else.

Agreed with the player getting Harden. Honestly it’s better to be top heavy in fantasy basketball and if you think about it Donic and Randle won’t really push you over the edge in any category that Harden won’t. Doncic’s percentages will limit him. Randle is a big that doesn’t have a high fg% and doesn’t offer blocks. Harden will single handidly keep you in match ups with his dominance in points, ft%, assists and 3s.

No way Randle is not big enough of a difference maker compared to a waiver pickup. Harden for Doncic + 1 of his other earlier round players then possibly, who else did he draft?
July 4 2016, Kevin Durant declared his dependence day, dependent on the guys he couldn't beat!
