Does anyone need to go?

Post#1 » by TrueNorthStrong » Sat Jan 5, 2008 6:12 am

I'm in an 8 team league with basic categories
FG%, FT%, 3PT%, PTS, REB, AST, ST, BLK, TO, PF

Was wondering is there anyone on my team that doesn't deserve to be there because there is Mike Bibby available and I want to pick him up .. didn't know how to drop .

PG Jose Calderon (Tor - PG)
SG Josh Smith (Atl - SG,SF,PF)
G Paul Pierce (Bos - SG,SF)
SF Gerald Wallace (Cha - SF,PF)
PF Antawn Jamison (Was - SF,PF)
F Dirk Nowitzki (Dal - PF)
C Samuel Dalembert (Phi - C)
Util Pau Gasol (Mem - PF,C)
Util Anthony Parker (Tor - SG,SF)
Util Andrew Bynum (LAL - C)
BN Deron Williams (Uta - PG)
BN LaMarcus Aldridge (Por - PF,C)
BN Danny Granger (Ind - SF,PF)
BN Gilbert Arenas (Was - PG) INJ

Anyone I can trade , if so who should I go after . currently I'm in 2nd, 1 game behind the leader.

Take out Mrs. Parker for Bibby. You got a solid team BTW.

I knew you would say AP .. but he's my favourite player .. didn't wanna drop him =(

and Dwill was on the bench because he wasn't playing on the day I copied my roster =P .

Its gonna be sad to see AP go.

Should I drop Arenas .. because the yahoo thing just said

"Jan 5 Arenas said he was recently cleared to get on the court for some light shooting for the first time since undergoing surgery on his left knee on Nov. 21, the Washington Post reports.

Recommendation: Arenas indicated that he is aiming for a possible March 15 return to game action. "They say I'll be at 100 percent around February, mid-February, somewhere around the all-star break," said Arenas, who hasn't been cleared for any running or jumping just yet. "But I'm going to be in extra wait mode, just to be sure."

So since he is gonna be out for cpl more months .. i was thinking i'd drop him and pick up someone else ? .. Re-picking up Anthony Parker .

Arenas on the bench is better than AP ? ... Arenas is returning in March and January just started ... what's wrong with AP ? .. cpl of games here and there he struggling . but he should pick it up . THe only thing is I don't wanna drop him and than someone else picks him up . Im losing points with one less player on my team .

I have Arenas on my time, and I have no intention of dropping him. Fantasy is all about the playoffs, and anything can happen. Parker will obviously be better during the course of the season, because Arenas is injured. But in the (fantasy) playoffs, Arenas is miles better than AP, and that is where it counts

I love my Raptor players too but you gotta do what's best for your team. That move will make you go in first place.

Wow you've got a nice team. Drop AP for Bibby, and you're set.
