no. i think joe smith is a waiver pickup for the short term type player. with that said, i dont think ak and parker for melo is worth it. parker ak both have great % and cover just about every cat except for 3s. melo and smith would not help in 3s either so i see it as a unfair trade off.

^true, but keep in mind both these guys have injury issues (Parkers Heel, Ak... everything)

try to get a bit more

I guess I was afraid the offer would get rescinded, so I accepted before your guys replies. I was weary of AK's bad second half to the season in part because of acquisition of Korver, Harpring being back, and the problems with Sloan. Essentially, I'm getting the best player in the deal for one who's currently playing hurt and has a tendency to sit out the last few games of the season.
