Anticipation-Marcus Banks

Post#1 » by flooredyas » Sun Feb 10, 2008 4:26 pm

Today, Miami finally gets to unveil their new toys. I, as likely the rest of you, wonder just how the Heat utilize him. For me, I dropped the disappearing Lowry for him. While my reasons are likely different from most others-IE, a player to slot in for next week in the limited games of my daily league, perhaps it was to get a jump on the rest of my league. Come on Marcus, nows the time!

Game one is in the books and I'm not disappointed that I have picked him up. Williams did nothing to justify being the starter and Banks doubled his assist total in 1/2 the minutes. With 2 games this upcoming shortened week and the break, he will have a bit of adjustment time to familiarize himself to the Riley system. I mean, he does know alot of the players already, having been teammates of theirs.
