Can the players traded today play on tomorrow? Or is it best to sit them out?

unless its a star i'd stay away from them this week as they settle into the teams

i dont understand why you would sit them unless you dont have enough space. Are there some leagues where you have to pick which players to start for the week or something?

YES!

Today, just about every NBA team is playing so you basically have your whole roster playing.
