I need a center

Post#1 » by sixerguy » Tue Mar 18, 2008 3:54 pm

Im in a roto league and with the uncertainty of Kaman returning leaves me in a black hole at the center position. Not only do I want to keep my lead in blocks, but I want to maximize and use all my "games remaining" at the center spot. FA list is pretty bad; I'm thinking about Josh Boone but the NJ C situation is not consistent. Who should i pick up:

Josh Boone
Josh Powel
Earl Barron
Jason Smith
Joakim Noah
Nenad Krstic
Mikki Moore

I don't know enough about Kaman's injury to say if he should be dropped. Of teh players listed I like Noah.

I like Noah but he's pretty inconsistent. If Krstic comes back healthy IMO he's going to get more minutes than Boone, but until then Josh is the better pickup. Mikki Moore might be interesting because he gets the minutes, but he doesn't seem to have big games. Reliably mediocre.

The rest of em IMO are waiver wire fodder... You'd have to tell me why you'd want to pick Power, Barron and Smith up.

Mikki Moore, look at his last 5 or so games, he's on a role.
