He has been "hurt" for the last couple weeks with the Heat in full tank mode. Is it worth it to keep him for the playoffs?

then again I didn't see anything on the wires.

I've given up on Miami at this point. Theyre not just sitting Wade, but Marion, Haslem, Banks... Anyone that might be any good for the team. Marion's an iron man I cant remember the season he played less than 80 games. That he's missed so many games is a sign to me that theyre tanking.

Wait for the MRI results, then drop him if the results are bad.

Heat board doesn't think Marion will be back. I have the bye this week, but if nothing happens with in the next couple days I'm droppin him for Salmons.

He didn't play again tonight. The next game is on Sunday for Miami. That should be the last chance people give him. If he doesn't play on Sunday, then he is 100% done for the season. Right from the start his injuries were minor and nothing more than just aches and painsm, which every player in the NBA has throughout the season. His MRI came back negative as well.
There is just no reason for Marion not to be playing, other than the fact that Miami is tanking. The funny thing is, Marion has an option to opt out of his contract, yet, management is keeping him away from playing. Maybe they are confident that Marion will be back...

he's not with the team on the road trip. meaning if he comes back after the trip he'll play 3 games in week 2 of the playoffs...
i have him too, Heat are tanking like crazy, i wouldn't be suprised if he didn't come back. But it sucks to drop your first rounder at this crucial point of the season

Marion missed 31 games in his rookie season.

i'm wary about the whole situation.
marion is looking for a big contract and could start speaking up about playing so he can get another contract.
but then again the heat are tanking harder than i've ever seen.
i think once the heat pretty much clinch the worst record in a few more games then marion will come back so he can help pad his stats.
