What are your rookie rankings for this year?

Rankings should be based on their production for this season, not their future potential fantasy value.

1. Michael Beasley, F
Beasley will be starting immediately and his offensive repertoire is polished enough to make an impact in his rookie season. He will probably be the Heat's second leading rebounder behind Marion.

2. Kevin Love PF/C
I think this guy is the most ready to contribute along with Beasley. His skillset is already above a lot of experienced NBA big men and it all comes natural to him. I expect Al Horford-like numbers in his rookie season.

3. OJ Mayo, G
The Grizz don't seem to have a lot of other options on offense other than Gay. Lowry, Crittenton, Warrick, their offense is limited and inconsistent. While Mayo isn't the most consistent guy, he has the ability to fill it up in a hurry in a variety of ways and that's what the Grizz need. A guy who takes the pressure off of Rudy. I expect 15 points a game.

4. Derrick Rose, PG
It takes a while for a rookie point guard to get accustomed to the NBA. I also don't know the rotation the Bulls have in their minds, but I think Kirk Hinrich is still a 30 minute starting point guard for the season. I expect a similar role that Conley had in his first year.

5. Eric Gordon, SG
10ppg in his rookie campaign is a lot to ask for, but I think he can do it. Of course, there's always the threat of Ricky Davis taking all the shots of the second unit.

What's your take on things? Top 5, top 10, top 60, whatever you like.

1. Beasley
2. Oden
3. Love
4. Fernandez
5. Mayo

I don't expect too much from either Rose or Gordon for fantasy. Rose would rate for future, but Chicago has depth so while Rose will get regular minutes, I think he'll be brought along slowly. And from a fantasy persepctive, his percentages take him down in value and I seem a little better than Mike Conley last year which isn't much for this year. Gordon won't get much playing time behind Mobley and Davis.

1. Beasley
Agree with what you said 100%.
"LaMarcus Aldridge rookie season" like impact.
My protected rookie stats:
14ppg, 8rpg, 2apg, 1spg, 1bpg, 49fg%, 78ft%

2. Westbrook
I think that He'll take over 1/4 of the way though the season and blow the doors off some people.
"Dwayne Wade rookie season" like impact.
14ppg, 4rpg, 4apg, 2spg, 1bpg, 45fg%, 72ft%

3. Love
His impact wont be seen as much in his own stats as much as it will be seen in others because he'll make Al, Foye and Brewer etc better.
"Al Horford rookie season" like impact.
8ppg, 8rpg, 3apg, 1spg, 1bpg, 42fg%, 75ft%

4. Mayo
He's going to jack up a lot of shots and miss a lot of shots but his D will make up for some of his gun slinging
"Adam Morrison but plays D rookie season" like impact.
12ppg, 3rpg, 3apg, 2spg, 38fg%, 85ft%

5. Brook Lopez
You can't teach size!! He has a lot of the tools to do well - it's just a mater of getting the ball to him.
"Channing Frye rookie season" like impact.
14ppg, 6rpg, 1apg, 2bpg, 48fg%, 70ft%

Interested in following on the waivers:
Bayless
Hibbert
Augustin

You're right about Westbrook, totally forgot about the kid. ( ) He'll get more opportunities and freedom than Rose.

And don't forget that Watson won't be fully healthy in the start of the season. He's recovering from surgery.

He's not a sexy pick, but I think Brandon Rush may have a productive season.

westbrook might be an underrated pick. i say this because although he isnt expected to put up great numbers hes definitely going to have plenty of opportunites.
