Elton Brand

I'm in some fantasy leagues in hoops, but in the 2 most important leagues for me i did choose Elton Brand in the 21 pick in one and 11 pick in the other, i did choose him as the franchise player on both so i obviously depend on him and his health this season.
do you think he will be healthy?
do you think he will get similar stats as maybe 3 years ago (a top10)? or does his current age and health will not let him be that player, i think play with andre milller will be better for him, and will get lots of points, too bad they have iguodala.

Even though he's considered risky, I believe Brand deserves a top 15 pick, maybe a bit higher.
When he came back last season for a few games, he played great with decreased PT. You know his numbers 3 years ago.. he had them against the mighty west conference. Now theoretically things will be more easier against the lower quality front courts of the East. I think you made a good pick.

Excellent pick at 21 (what's wrong with the other managers in your league?), and pretty good pick at 11. Personally, I'd go with someone who isn't coming off a season missed due to injury, just incase, but at 11, it's still pretty good. I'd expect him to go around 8-12 in most drafts.

Thanks for the reply s, i'm statisfed at the Brand selection, looks like people fears he comes down again, but what about Yao Ming? people always choose him in the top15. Then we have some more other players who can easily go down in any moment.

(22 teams)

/30 teams and HUGE mistake trading my 2, 3 and 6 pick for another first round pick, and..... it's gilbert arenas, this is from 1 week ago)

At 21, I believe you got a steal. I wouldn't select him at 11, but in your case you didn't have much of an alternative. Where did Shawn Marion slip to in your first draft? The man who drafted Kaman is in for a nightmare when Camby eats his lunch. He could've had a duo of Caron Butler and Steve Nash. Even 27 is very high for Kaman in your second draft. I assume the manager a first year player because he took both Tyson Chandler and Chris Kaman. I wish you the best of luck this year.

Shawn Marion has been selected 35# before all this:
27 Cádiz FC Marcus Camby LAC 09/18 07:43:44
28 Mexican G Manu Ginobili SAS 09/18 09:13:09
29 Sevilla F David West NOR 09/18 09:13:09
30 CSKA la toalla G Brandon Roy POR 09/18 09:13:09
31 Pucela GF Paul Pierce BOS 09/18 09:13:09
32 Zaragoza G Monta Ellis GSW 09/18 10:30:57
33 Valencia G Jason Kidd DAL 09/18 10:48:12
34 Cleveland GF Kevin Durant SEA 09/18 10:48:12
I have been lucky in the first one with brand and nash, also got K-Mart (player i really like), but traded him and my 98 pick for Tracy McGrady and the 114 pick.

Marion in the middle of the second round in a deep draft is definitely a steal for the lucky manager.
Kevin Martin is the featured player in Sacramento, now that Artest and Bibby have been shipped out. He has potential to put up all-star numbers. As much as I value Tracy McGrady, he's injury prone and should see inconsistent numbers with the arrival of Artest. The difference between 98 and 114 isn't detrimental to your success, but obviously it doesn't and most probably will not make up for the Martin-McGrady swap.

You have to play with your head, not your heart. I'm sure you could've put together a better proposal.

u are right, but even with/without ron artest, i think tmac will not have worst numbers, kevin martin will be around 26 points for game with good %'s, tmac will maybe score only 19 points game, but he can easily do 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steall... assists count 1'5 here.
