Highly Competitive Keeper League

Hey guys,

I'm looking for some active players for a 20 team Yahoo keeper league. The league is entering season 2 and due to work related issues, three of our members had to drop out. The league is really active and every member is mature yet highly competitive. So if you are looking for a league where you can talk about the current season and not have to worry about inactive teams or biased commissioners, this is the league for you.

It's head to head with daily line-up changes. Settings are 12 players (PG, SG, SF, PF, C, 4 Util, 3 BN), 9 categories (FG% FT% 3PTM PTS REB AST ST BLK TO), and every team gets 3 keepers.

The following 3 rosters are currently available (I'll only list top ranked players)

2nd pick in draft

Team 2
Ben Gordon
Marvin Williams
Dwight Howard
Paul Pierce
13th pick in draft

Team 3
Jason Kidd
Rudy Gay
Ron Artest
Gerald Wallace
Al Horford
Andrew Bynum
4th pick in draft

We are planning to continue this keeper league beyond this season so if your interested and you're an active player, let me know which team you want to take over and your 3 keepers.

Ive never done a keeper league,so how does it work?If i have the 2nd pk in the draft are players like CP3 and lBJ going to be there?

No, players like CP3 and Lebron are usually kept by their owner from last season. Usually the top players available in the draft are ranked in the 40s by Yahoo.

UPDATE

There are still 2 vacant teams left without a GM. The draft is on Oct 18 at 10am est, so there is still time to join if you are interested in taking over 1 of the teams. Reminder that you aren't forced to swallow the whole roster, but rather you choose 3 players that you want to keep from the team. The rest of the players are put back into the drafting pool.

As this keeper league is 1 season old, the drafting order will/has been customized so that the worst team from last season will get the 1st pick in the 4th round, while the best team will pick last. Technically, the 1st pick in the 4th round is the 1st overall pick in the draft since rounds 1-3 will consist of the 3 keepers from each team, which has already been pre determined and will be automatically drafted accordingly. As you may notice, Team 2 will have the 1st pick, while Team 1 will get the 4th pick.

Death Knight or Debaser, I'd definitely be interested in joining the keeper league. I'm sure I can make the draft as well. I'm an active fantasy player, who has a decent-good winning percentage, and joins a few competitive leagues per year.

Out of these players I can pick 3 to keep right? Am I allowed to pick more, or is 3 the limit? The ones I let go, go back into the draft right?

Anyways, out of those players listed above, I'd like to keep Gay, Kidd, and Bynum.

Final team is yours. There are a few studs in the draft, and since you have the 1st pick you could end up with 2 players ranked in the top 15. Not too bad for a 20 team league. I'll send you the invite now. Let me know which 3 players you want to keep.
