Pick Five keepers from this list

Post#1 » by GrapeApe » Wed Oct 1, 2008 8:31 pm

Standard 12 team h2h

PG Steve Nash (Pho - PG) Given
SG Rudy Gay (Mem - SG,SF)
G Derek Fisher (LAL- PG)
SF Vince Carter (NJ - SG,SF)
PF Darko Milicic (Mem - PF,C)
F Danny Granger (Ind - SG,SF,PF)
C Chris Kaman (LAC - C)
Util Elton Brand (LAC - PF,C) Given
Util Charlie Villanueva (Mil - SF,PF)
Util Tayshaun Prince (Det - SF)
BN Martel Webster(Port - SG,SF)
BN Eddie House (Bos - PG)

I figure Nash and Brand are givens.

Then I'm thinking Gay and Granger because they are young.

Carter should be the next logical pick but he is old and NJ is going young. Would Kaman be a better pick? And what are thoughts on Charlie V. this season? And Darko?

Nash
Brand
Granger
Gay
Kaman

Nash is special but Carter isn't that much special, so I'd rather have Granger, Gay and Kaman over him because of the age factor.

Nash
Brand
Granger
Gay
VC

I expect a significnt drop in Kaman's production;especially in blocks/rebounds deparment due to Camby's presence.IMO he will end up being between 50-60 at the season end.

As a long term keeper....I would pick Prince over VC.

I'd take Vince over Kamen personally. He's just going to be the more valuable guy over all this year IMO.
