Pool types?

Guys,

I'd like to get a pool started with some of my friends that don't know much about basketball and don't feel like managing rosters and closely follow games.

Do you guys know about a format that fits that description. I was thinking about having 12-15 rounds/groups of players that you have to choose one from. Like, the first category would have Lebron, CP, Kobe... of which you can only choose one. Etc.

Any suggestions would help.
