Kobe vs Amare...

Post#1 » by 3Si » Tue Oct 28, 2008 7:00 pm

9 teams default Yahoo H2h (Weekly Change):

PG Allen Iverson
SG Andre Iguodala
G Richard Hamilton
SF Josh Smith
PF Michael Beasley
F Tracy McGrady
C Amare Stoudemire
C Marcus Camby
U Gerald Wallace
U Josh Howard
BN John Salmons
BN Zydrunas Ilgauskas
BN Monta Ellis

Should I trade take Kobe or keep Amare? With Odom coming off the bench, it's basically a write off between him and Hamilton. What do you guys think?

If you have time, feel free to rate my team as well:

Thanks. Leave a link if you want opinion on your team/trade as well.

I like your team getting Kobe and Odom.

Blocks should be covered with Camby, Wallace and Ilgauskas. Plus you get Kobe's FT%.

just one question, are these trades that you are contemplating? or ones that are currently on offer?

Currently offered to me. The GM doesn't like Kobe. His team auto picked the draft. He doesn't like Odom's decrease role either.

My block cat will still be good as you said, I also have Josh Smith. I can use Kobe's FT% as well as 3s and assists, if I do decide to make a move to strengthen either cat for the playoff. It gives me more options BUT I do lose out on FG%. I guess Odom can help me out in that category.

I assume you drafted with the knowledge that Amare was their to control the FG% category for you. When you swap him for Kobe, all that goes out the window.

Exactly. And I'm also very thin at the 5 spot with Cotton Camby being a huge risk any given moment. That's why I'm hesitant to pull the trigger.
