Michael Pietrus
This kid always had the upside to be a very good player in this league. He has very good shooting touch from the outside and is a pretty good shot blocker for his position, mainly due to his athletic ability and length. With Dwight Howard bombarded with double teams, Pietrus can give you at least 2-3 3pointers a game and maybe a shot block plus about 2-4 rebounds per game.

Yeah, I actually drafted him otherwise he'd definitely be on my list. Whoever ends up open for 3 on the Magic will be shooting it, so I think he'll have a ton of attempts as long as he gets heavy minutes at SG. And .9bpg is awesome out of a SG. Only negatives are his FT% and possibly losing minutes to the Magic's other wing players on the bench.

Re: Waiver Wire Wonders
Hawes is a good pickup. I still see him getting minutes when Brad Miller comes back. Darrell Arthur was my pickup. So far he has totaled 25 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 steals all in 2 games. Plus he has the starting position over Warrick.

Re: Waiver Wire Wonders
I think Hawes will get a bunch of minutes as the Kings go for a youth movement. I wouldn't be surprised if Miller gets traded.
I think Arthur put up great stats the first couple games but I don't expect him to keep up that level of production. He may still be solid though.
Keep on eye on Mbah a Moute, the Bucks 2nd rounder in deeper leagues. He may end up starting for Skiles or at least playing 30+ minutes which would allow him to contribute in blks, stls, and rebs.

Roger Mason is getting serious minutes for the Spurs while Ginobili is hurt. He should be a good source of 3s.

Re: Waiver Wire Wonders
^Good call. If he continues to get Harrington's minutes, he should put up good stats. In 30mpg I'd predict something like 13ppg on 52%FG, 2/3FT, 8rb, 1ast, .5 steals, and 2 blocks. He could be a good source of blocks, FG%, and rebs without hurting you much in FT compared to other similar players on waivers.
If he has one more good game I'll add him because that GS system is fantasy gold, and Don Nelson just signed for a couple more years so he isn't going anywhere. A trade could open up more minutes for him as GS really needs to get a PG when trading Harrington because they're starting DEMARCUS NELSON there.

I'm adding him now. He should be big!

If anyone dropped Ridnour go get him! Big line last night and should still see consistent minutes until his play drops off.

Re: Waiver Wire Wonders
For deep leagues:
CJ Watson had a decent game last night. He wont provide lots of assists but could be a decent source in points and 3's with minor contribution in assists and steals.
Jared Dudley is Larry Brown type of player and has been the starter for the last 3 games. His stats wont blow you away but he can get 8-10 points 45 rebounds with 1 steal;very low turnovers and very good fg% and ft%.

Also in deeper leagues, look at Jared Dudley, whose gotten some starts now at PF for Charlotte since May is out. He's good for some offence and a few boards as well.

Check out the Wizards...Nick Young is getting plenty of run at SG and scoring 16ppg. And a guy I'm really high on is JaVale McGee, a seven foot athletic big who has C eligibility and went for 12, 10, and 2 blk's last night! Eddie Jordan is looking to turn his roster upside down right now and those two guys could have serious fantasy impact

Re: Waiver Wire Wonders
During the start of the season, I was really high on McGee. But seeing how Blatche and Etan Thomas is playing so far. Even with his glimpse of promise, McGee is ought to share PT with Blatche and Etan.
If you guys are in really really deep leagues. Another player you might want to check is Anthony Randolph. This kid has tons of talent and with his versatility he might be a pretty good roto player. Now with Al Harrington and his DNPs, he might get some playing time.

Re: Waiver Wire Wonders
The C situation in Washington is pissing me off. I drafted both Thomas and Blatche nice and late figuring that between the 2 of them they could put up the stats of @ least one man. No dice.

Duhon looks to be heating up. He's had a nice couple of games and getting lots of time, even with Nate Robinson's good play.
