I'm considering picking him up in a 10 team H2H league. He was dropped last week and I want to grab him before anyone else does. I'm probably going to drop Charlie Villanueva because I think Skiles is going to use him inconsistently over the year.
I thought I heard Kamla say that he's coming back next week on NBA Gametime last night. I might of misunderstood. Anyone know any news on him????

Re: Any news on Dunleavy?
They said on NBA.com today that he's still out indefinitely which is scary as hell. That could mean he's back next week but most likely it means he'll be out for awhile. If there was really a chance he could be back next week then you would think they would say something to that effect.
I'm still considering picking him up until he makes it back but I already have Francisco Garcia on the bench injured.

Mike Dunleavy-G/F- Pacers Nov. 6 - 10:48 am et
Mike Dunleavy (knee) isn't sure when he'll be able to resume playing for the Pacers.
The Pacers are calling the injury tendonitis, which is being complicated by the development of a bone spur. Coach Jim O'Brien said "It's not settling down as much as we would like it to." The team said surgery is not being considered right now, but it looks like the problem could drag on longer than expected.

Re: Any news on Dunleavy?
Dunleavy still unsure when he'll play: The Indianapolis Star reports that Mike Dunleavy still has no idea when he will return from his knee injury. "I really don't know because this thing has a mind of its own. I'm going to have to ride it out and see," said Dunleavy.
(Updated 11/06/2008).
Injury Report
Knee - Out until at least mid-November
(Updated - 11/6/08)
Fantasy Analysis
During the preseason, he was limited to a 12-minute appearance in one of the eight games. He missed his third regular-season game Wednesday night against the Phoenix Suns. The Pacers are still calling Dunleavy's injury tendinitis, but coach Jim O'Brien said the tendon is unique because "some of it has turned into a bone spur." Dunleavy has played at least 75 games in each of his six seasons, but he couldn't say how many games he expects to play. "My goal is to get back to playing on the court at some point and be healthy and be able to contribute," he said. "Anything after that is really getting ahead of ourselves."

Thanks for the updates. Looks like I can't touch him for awhile. Even if he comes back... tendinitis is such an unpredictable issues and it can become a problem at any instant. That sucks. I like Dunleavy as a fantasy player.

^^ Me too. I drafted him, hoping he would return to his old form. This isn't good.
