Someone in my league wants Rose and got offered Bynum, Nene, and Mario Chalmers (Potential Sleeper)... For Rose and Marc Gasol. Should I take this deal?

At my other guard spots I have Deron Williams, Jason Richardson, Kevin Durant and Rudy Fernandez (heh). My current centers are Marc Gasol and Yao Ming. So after I would have Bynum and Yao and center and Nene and Chalmers.

I understand Rose is gonna be big, especially after the injury of Kirk. But whats everyones thoughts?

quality vs. quantity

I keep Rose, and that's before I remember that M. Gasol is legit GOOD.

But if you're really hurting for boards i suppose you could make an argument.

I was thinking the same thing, Gasol is a GOOD, but I think his one great game was a fluke. . . It wont happen again, or if it does not much. . . And I would be starting Yao over him anyways. So in my eyes Rose for Bynum and Nene seems not bad.

but you don't need help at their positions right?

Just so we're clear you're saying you're fine trading Gasol cuz you really don't need much more help at C, but you want to make this trade because it would give you some good Cs at the expense of a good PG?

However, by all means sell M. Gasol High, but don't include Rose for a pg version of Marc in Mario (Rook with a couple oddly good games)

EDIT: also don't overlook the fact that you'd have to drop a player in this trade... who would that be?

Of course Marc Gasol isn't going to post 27-16-3 again. But he is still a double double guy with 1+ blks. He is definitely a starting C in two C leagues. Very solid player with actual value..........should not be viewed as just a filler.
