drop Nate for Haslem?

Post#1 » by KT » Tue Dec 9, 2008 11:57 pm

Haslem is a FA. I need help in REB, OREB, DREB (our league counts all 3), BLKS, TOs and FG%. I know Nate is the better overall player, however he is my most expendable player that doesn't fill those stats. Should i wait till Nate returns and see if his value jumps with the lack of guards in NY then try to trade, or should i just drop him?

I would not do that. Keep Nate, he will be a stud and somebody will want his steals for sure. You should be able to trade him, once he's returned, for a player better than Haslem.

Haslem is a fine player but I also wouldn't drop Nate for him. He will only help with rebounding and not so much blocks.

Try to shop Nate around 1st. I don't think anyone should rush to go pick up Haslem before you (worst case scneario).
