hey guys, my team is not built around ft%, so other than that i find it almost impossible to let go of lebron, even for the proposed trade of j.salmons and cp3. aslo my league is a bit unorthodox, here are the cats:
1.fgm
2.fg%
3.ftm
4.ft%
5.3pm
6.3p%
7.pts
8.off.reb
9.def.reb
10.total reb
11.ast
12.steal
13.block
14.turnovers
as you can see boards are pretty important in this league.
so i have been offered john salmons and Chris paul for Lebron James, and im close to the top in assist as is.
if you think i should accept, who should i drop?
thanks.
here is my team as is:
PG-Allen Iverson
(Det - PG)
G-Andre Iguodala
(Phi - G,F)
G-Devin Harris
(NJ - PG)
PF-Rasheed Wallace
(Det - PF,C)
F-Nene Hilario
(Den - PF,C)
F-LeBron James
(Cle - F)
C-Andris Biedrins
(GS - C)
Util-Ray Allen
(Bos - G)
BN-Marvin Williams
(Atl - PF)
BN-Ben Gordon
(Chi - G)
BN-Kendrick Perkins
(Bos - C)

I wouldn't do it if you are near the top in assists.

yeah im actually in 1st for assists, but it can't hurt to have cp3 and to top it off i'd be getting salmons, so i don't know if i should do it.

It's basically Lebron and Perkins for CP3 and Salmons, because he his the most logical to drop, so think about it like that.
I don't know what to say.
You're gonna lose a ton of blocks this way as well and you're already assist heavy.
You will add steals and assists.
You'll pick up 3 pointers made and percentage, break even on fg& for the most part as CP3 is higher than Lebron but Perk is higher then Salmons I believe.
I don't know.
You're pretty well balanced at all positions, but then again all your PGs are injury prone and neither of the one's coming back are.
Also, you have to think that if Salmons winds up getting traded to a contender he might come off the bench and his statistics will go down.
You also have to look at in this sense.
I love having a loaded team, but it is always nice to have one guy that is borderline droppable so you don't 2nd guess yourself when someone comes on the waiver wire that really seems like a great pick up.
Sometimes you wind up leaving a guy out there because you have no one you can get yourself to drop and the guy you would have picked up winds up a literal top 30 player from that point on.
I probably just confused you even worse, sorry man, lol.
I think I hold onto Lebron though, but the last thing is if Cleveland makes a big upgrade trade, Z and Delonte come back and they start obliterating teams again, LEbrons minutes will go down.
I might do this trade, its rough.
I don't think you can go wrong either way.

thanks a lot for the pointers, but yeah its really hard for me to make a firm decision on this one. im gonna probably decline for now and see what happens near the real trade deadline.
