I want to pick up Battier...

Post#1 » by robertjanssen007 » Mon Apr 6, 2009 11:53 pm

but don't want to touch my team.

I'm in the finals, 12 teams H2H:

I have a weak scoring and rebounding team. My only strengths are assists, steals and blocks. I've grind it out in the playoffs, squeezing by in two earlier rounds 5-4. The plan is to get some more points and insurance with threes. I notice how 1500+ teams have dropped McDyess but I feel that's extremely premature. He's only had one bad fantasy game--he still collected 9 rebounds last night, that's all I want from him. Jermaine O'Neal is a shadow of himself but can still get 13 points and 2 blocks. Hawes is inconsistent but no way I can drop him. Turiaf was my last minute pickup and saved my ass with blocks last round--hard to let go of him. Ronnie Brewer is sadly one of the better scorers on my team. Mike Conley is too hot to let go. I need Duhon's assists and three point shooting. Chandler is wildly inconsistent but seems to do it all. The rest are untouchable at this point.

What are thy suggestions?

Ah, here's my opponent:

Well Foye is injured right now, so that's a start.

Hawes is sidelined last night due to double vision because his eye got poked. I'd monitor the news about him(I couldnt find any).If he is going to miss games or see less playing time because of it,he can be dropped in favor Battier.

Otherwise Mcdyess can be dropped for Battier.
