Hello,

As some of you may be aware Golden Age Hoops has officially folded and we are taking its place!

We are a BRAND NEW league which uses DDS:PB (required) and is starting from the NBA golden years starting in the 1995-96 season!

That's right the likes of MJ Magic Johnson and much more!

We are using real teams and players aswell as real player drafts which are the same as the NBA (plus we are adding in some undrafted gems i.e. Ben Wallace in each draft)!

If you would like to be a part of this brand new league which will be starting soon then all you have to do is register on the forum link below and register on the "waiting list" under RBA!

http://www.bigleaguesports.net/forum/index.php

there is also a website where the league rules and other info can be found at

http://bigleaguesports.net/

We have loads of spaces as we only opened up registration last night! But be warned overnight we managed to fill 16 GM spots so act now and join a brand new sim league!!

Hope to see you soon!

Also please note we are not the same league as the Retro League basketball we are our own entity!

Hey guys, looking for a sim league?

http://www.ssbabasketball.com/

Its been running for over 20+ seasons now, and its as good as RBSL as far as everything goes. :D Really good core of GMs as well. We had a month break of uncertainty but still managed to keep 21 GMs in the midst of it all.

Currently available teams:
Pacers
Knicks

Teams on the bubble and could be open by next week:
Bulls
Spurs
Rockets
Pistons
Sonics

When responding, please include:
Name:
Aim:
Previous Experience (if applicable):
E-mail:
team preference:

Here's the link to the waiting list:
http://forums.ssbabasketball.com/index.php?topic=135.0

Its one of the sister leagues of RBSL. Its a really good league.

The "godfather" of SSBA has actually dedicated lots of work into the site, which shows the dedication on how we value the league. :)

I'm hoping to see you guys there.

NBA Dynasty .v4
http://nba96.b1.jcink.com/index.php?

This is the forth "version" of the league. .v3 lasted approximately ~20+ years if I recall correctly and if it weren't for league file problems, v1 and v2 would have been longer than the 10+ years.

Great core of GM. Very active league. Sims are daily and "fast" paced. There's a shoutbox as well for easy communication and we've never missed a sim so far.

We're currently heading into the 4th season of the league. 1999 season. We've just finished draft and today is going to be free agency days 1-5. We have possibly 2-3 open spots, depending on whether or not the people who sign up is "worthy" or "active".

The "default" skin is bad, so just go to the bottom left and switch it to Hybrix Neon.

If you have any more questions, PM me here or just make a shout and I'm sure people will answer you.

We usually have 10+ people on at a time and 15+ during live sims.

Following on from what Dave has said, the NLL is constantly looking for enthusiastic applicants! We are a very active community, driven by media and the contribution of other members, so there is always room for new guys.

At the moment, we have 3 teams we are taking applications for. They are;

Sacramento Kings - It is rare that a team of this caliber becomes available, but the Western conference champs are open for the taking. Led by last year's MVP Kobe Bryant, Elton Brand, and the newest King, Shaq, the Kings sit atop of the West even without a GM for the bulk of the season (due to outside commitments of the GM), and are still dominating.

Toronto Raptors - A powerhouse team which has fallen short this season. Led by superstars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, this squad's window is closing and we are looking for a GM who is prepared for the challenge of retooling this once dominant team.

Atlanta Hawks - Always a surprise packet, the Hawks are a team which is bound for the playoffs in the tough Eastern conference. Led by Peja and Tony Parker, the Hawks are loaded with a mix of veteran power and youth. A great balanced team for a new GM to take the reigns and choose which path they wish to take.

As Dave has already said, the NLL is in a league of its own. We sim using Wolverine Studio's Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball at a pace which is slower to many other leagues out there (2 days simmed per weekday), however given our current league cycle has been running since 2004 (previously simming with Total Pro Basketball 2005) and our activity is extrememly high amongst all GMs, it is a successful system. We have lots of unique features to keep every GM busy.

Player Agency - Our player agency system is a unique system, copied by many, but never equalled. With three agencies which handle the entire player pool of the NLL, the free agency process extends to all year round. The system is interactive, allowing GMs to pitch to the agent to lure new clients to their squad. It doesn't come without catches though, as GMs must mindful in what they promise to their players, as going back on a promise made in negotiations could sour future relations with the agent. In-season free agency also uses this system, giving the player the chance to set themself up in the most favourable situation for them using the characteristics set out by their DDS personalities.

Rookie Draft - With our rookie commissioner at the head of the system, GMs can workout upcoming rookies all year round. With regular updates including mock drafts, NCAA updates, International news, and more, the rookie drafting process is one of the deepest features in the NLL. With a full collation of rookie profiles, scouting potential targets is easier and funner than ever.

NLL-exclusive awards - While DDS can only do so much in terms of the All Star weekend and post-season awards, the NLL can do so much more. While the 2012 All Star weekend has just passed without a hitch, we allow the GMs to vote their own lineups to represent them. Likewise, all awards go to a league vote.

Media active - We thrive on media. While it is expected all GMs contribute a bit to the NLL in terms of media, we have plenty of interesting contributions from out existing members. With stat gurus publishing insights into John Hollinger's power rankings, PER rankings, team offense/defense ratings, rebound ratings, defensive ratings, +/- ratings, and more. Members also take it upon themselves to contribute their own power rankings, MVP ratings, rookie and even sophomore rankings among many others.

It is a great community to be a part of, and we are always happy to take new members on, regardless of the number of open positions. So come drop in and take a look, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Apologies for the temporary URL, we're in the process of fixing our existing one. So if you would like to be a member, register, but also email me at carmelo15@nllballers.net to confirm you are a legit member and not a spammer. I appreciate your patience with this process, but it is neccessary.

Thanks, and see you at the NLL.

Sonics/Thunder and Pacers still open. Best sim league you can be a part of. Going in season 2030, been around since 2005.

Please register as either ThunderGM or PacersGM if interested. Just about to start the draft so it would be ideal to hop on now.

Right now we have Heat, Nets and Wizards open - all in the same division!

Please register as NewHeatGM, NewNetsGM, or NewWizardsGM so that I accept your request.

We are in season 2031, and started with 2005. Every June/July after the real NBA draft we create a draft to implement the real draft into our game.

Hey, I have a lot of SIM expeirence, and I'm looking for a new one that's active, makes trades, etc. The main thing I want, is that it's new and I;m not joining seasons down the road. Either PM me (obviously only if you're a mod) or email me at fridayfusionwsoe893 at gmail dot com

I've got a new simulation fantasy basketball league starting up in the off-season for the 2010/2011 season. Its a fresh league run by dedicated fans and committed team owners.

We're creating a full 30 team league and currently have openings for the following 22 teams:

Kings
Warriors
Clippers
Lakers
Suns
Jazz
Thunder
Mavericks
Rockets
Hornets
Grizzlies
Knicks
Celtics
76ers
Raptors
Bucks
Bulls
Pistons
Pacers
Hawks
Bobcats
Magic

The teams are not associated with existing rosters, as players will be drafted and salaries assigned through an inaugural fantasy draft. The rookie draft will follow the inaugural draft, and finally a free agency period for undrafted players before the season starts next November.

Please check out our league at:

And if you have any questions, PM me! (I go by Mighty Mouse in the league)

I don't know if it was RealGM that did it or what, but I'm pleased to say this league is filling up fast. We only have 9 spots left out of 30. Remember, the teams are teams in name only and you do not inherit anyone from their real-life rosters. The squads we have left are:

Kings
Suns
Rockets
Hornets
Knicks
76ers
Pistons
Bobcats
Magic

We're hoping to begin the kick-off draft with in the next 7-10 days, so if you want in . . . now is the time!

Check us out!

Sign ups start now. It will be first come first serve. Rosters are current as of today. We'll start the 09-10 season with the rosters from today. You will also have the picks that your team traded for in real life (ex: NJ having DAL's 2010 first). We'll have real draft prospects for 3-4 seasons and then I think we'll create a second league that represents college.
