Hey guys when you're in 1st round, what kind of player you look for the most? what position do you consider the most important?

I'd say either PG's who gets me assists/steals/3's or a big man who brings big man stats with solid percentages. I'm not fond of using my first round pick on a swingman unless it is Lebron.

So does that mean if you are drafting like 6th, you would rather take Deron/Amare/Jefferson/Bosh over say Granger or Durant?

In the first round, you take the best player based on your leagues' settings regardless of position, though towards the end of the first, position becomes a factor in that the decision. As for the 6th pick, definitely take Durant or Granger, if one of them is available.

Well I go with BPA but in the cases where BPA is not clear,then positions (along with other things) come into play. Durant and Granger are clearly better fantasy options for next year than Deron/Amare/Jefferson/Bosh so I'd take Granger or Durant.

However if you are talking about someone like Roy,I'd rather go with Deron/Amare/Jefferson/Bosh or Gasol or Billups.

Always BPA in the first round.
