Need advise on my fantasy team.

Post#1 » by slimkaka » Sun Oct 18, 2009 9:28 am

I missed the draft night. so the system drafted all the players for me based on the pre-draft order.

My roster look decent, but I don't really like it though.

would like to ask for advise from y'all, any suggestion is appreciated.

Personally I feel that i need to strengthen my Cs and PF and SF is more than enough so im thinking of trade either C.Butler or G.Wallace for a C

and noticeable FAs are : K.Hinrich, Mcdyess, DJ.Augustin, Rudy Fernandez, B.Bass and Mcgee

12 teans ROTO / 9 Cat

PG Jameer Nelson

SG/SF Caron Butler

SG Ray Allen

SF/PF Gerald Wallace

PF Dirk Nowitzki

SF/PF Shawn Marion

C Spencer Hawes

C Brendan Haywood

PG Mike Bibby

SF/PF Marvin Williams

SG/PF Francisco Garcia

SF/PF Corey Maggette

SF Shane Battier

Garcia is injured until the all star break and Battier is not a very useful fantasy player. Depending on who are the FA, I would drop those 2. If Roy Hibbert is still available I'd try and grab him, Channing Frye should see plenty of minutes in Phoenix, he won't get you too many REB's or BLK's, but he is serviceable PF/C and Deandre Jordan is also a good pick up considering the fact that Camby and Kaman are very injury prone. Also, Ryan Gomes went very low in most drafts and could be very useful as long as Kevin Love is out.

thanks for the suggestion.

I've already drop Garcia for K.Hinrich, but have to wait till tomorrow because is on waiver.

and Ryan Gomes, Darko Milicic , Blatch and McGee are some of the big men left in the FA market. im thinking of Brandon Bass, since RL will out for the first ten games.

im kinda unsure of whether I should offer Caron Butler for B.Lopez because my two Cs are rather weak.

If you can get Lopez for Butler you should do it. First-you have plenty of SF and no real good C (Haywood and Hawes are not top tier centers), and Lopez seems to be much more reliable than Butler. also, with Arenas coming back, Butler should see less minutes and shots. One problem is that you only have 2 SG on your team, Allen and Heinrich, and Allen is getting old and injury prone, so if you can trade G. Wallace or Marion for Lopez instead of butler, I think that would make your team more complete.
