Keep 1 player out of these 3

Post#1 » by RINSE » Sun Oct 18, 2009 5:52 pm

I'm in a keeper league and have to make a tough decision regarding my fourth (and last) keeper.

Other 3 guys are Dwight Howard, Mehmet Okur, Brandon Roy

I have a choice between Jose Calderon, Wilson Chandler, John Salmons

Categories are 3's, Pts, Orebs, Drebs, Asts, Stls, Blks, TO's

H2H. Who would you take?

Wilson chandler has much more potential that the other two. claderon is already in his prime and injuries are starting to focus on him, i dont think salmons is improving much more either. chandler has his chance to improve a lot but aint sure he is doing, who would want to trust in NYK franchise?

I like to build on a three year window in keepers. Calderon should be a second round PG, providing nice assts, 3, %'s, stls. He'll round out your squad nicely for at least 2 more years.

I like Salmons this year with Ben Gordon gone. Roy has pg/sg eligibility and Salmons has sg/sf eligibility so it gives you more flexibility, too. Calderon is nice, too, but I kinda wonder how much Turkoglu is going to be initiating the offense.

salmons. gordon is gone and he will have to take much of the offensive load. not only that, he's never been a volume type scorer so he should have decent percentages along with his 17-18 ppg and hsi rebounding is fairly well. he won't get you too many assists or too many TOs but all around he's a good player. jose i dont see having a great year for stats. AP and jkap is gone so a lot of his assists that came from jumpshooters will be gone, and turk is there so he'll have less ballhandling duties. wilson is the wildcard. i don't know whether he'll blow up or suck. he's high risk high reward type player, but i wouldn't expect percentages, turnovers to be good for him.
