What are his reasonable expectations? He has been more than disappointing, even drafting him in the 5th round but what are the honest digits we can expect from him. I am steamy that he sucks so much and I am not even a Sixers fan!!

Yeah i hear you. I drafted him earlier than 5th and just traded him for Vince Carter. Here's what worries me about him. Obviously he may never be the same due to injury/age. He was once great, but so was Dice, and a whole rack of other guys. His injury hurts him bad, especially being undersized. Taking off some of that athleticism of his really makes his weaknesses exploitable. Also, Eddie Jordan doesn't run a good offense for a pure post guy. Marresse Speights is a way better fit at PF next to Daly than Brand is. I am a wiz fan and am well versed in the ways of Eddie. He will sit guys who play good D and don't get points (a la Brendan Haywood). Did I mention Brand can't run with the other guys on this team? Thadeus and Speights make a whole lot more sense for the 6ers than Brand does. I'd trade him ASAP.

Reasonable (*slightly high*) Expectations: 14 and 7 with a block shooting some decent %s.
Pessimistic Expectations: 8 and 6 with a block on subpar %s.

I'm pretty sure he's never going to be a 20 and 10 player again. He's kind of gone the way of Webber and Jermaine O'neal these last few years...

Getting Vince Carter for Elton Brand is pretty much highway robbery IMO.

Elton for Vince was a very good trade....i just trade Elton and Manu for Rondo and Okur.
Had enough of Brands mediocre stats which i dont see improving dramatically. I also drafted him in the 4th round.
