My Rondo for Artest and Landry?

I got CP3, JJ. How is this value wise?

I'd never trade the best player in a deal.

Rondo is an elite point guard. With CP3 and Rondo you should be running away with steals and assists. Should do relatively well in FG% as well. I'm sure you may of hit a bit of a snag in the steals and assist column when cp3 was injured, so keep the 2 and get back to the top of those two cats.

Once you have an overwhelming lead in those cats then I'd look to trade rondo to address any weaknesses your team may have.

But I dunno, I don't like this deal for you. Artest isn't much of a factor this season fantasy wise and though Landry is nice, he's an energy guy off the bench...hard to see him keep those numbers all season barring injuries.

I was thinking about flipping Artest or Landry if this trade has overwhelming value. I'm killing FG, AST, ST, PTS, REB (tied for first currently, losing CP3 didn't really hurt me at all, making me think that I don't need another elite PG, I'm second in assists only because one lower ranked team has 4 point guards and Bronbron, and the third place team is 100 assists behind me )

My FT is down the drains with Rondo, Haywood, Pryz, Martin, O'Nel, Brewer, Ariza. Some of the worst free throw shooters ever assembled on a fantasy team. FT is a very difficult stat to improve anyways?

Same with turnovers; its hard to improve. I have too many starters with high usage rates.

I'm somewhat weak in blocking, even weaker now that I dropped Oden for Pryz. My guards and forwards are terrible shot blockers in their positions. Having (had) two league leaders in blocks doesn't really help.

I'm working hard to improve my 3PM.

CP3
JJ
Rondo
Beno
Brewer

Melo
Boozer
Ariza
Kenyon Martin
Hill

Haywood
Pryz
Shaq

Yeah to improve your FT's without taking much away from your team, you might have to cut ties with Shaq. Your killing rebounds, but it's not like Shaq will save you in blocks by himself I don't think.

I'd try and trade Rondo for.....a Camby, I'd also suggest Josh Smith but his FT's are going to hurt you as well. If someone bites on Brook Lopez for Rondo I'd do that in a heart beat. Heck I'd even add in filler for Brook. Great %'s and lots of blocks from a Center is clutch.

Yeah I can see your treys are a little off if Ariza is your guy hitting them. What would be pretty fair for Rondo would be someone like Mo Williams for lots of treys. Rashard Lewis is starting to put it together this season so he's someone to keep an eye on. Jason Terry is a guy who will help you in treys and not put a dent to much in TO's but I think you might be giving up a lot in Rondo for Terry. Though Jet would address all your needs Pts, treys, good %'s, low TO's. Jet started the last game for the Mavs so it's something to keep an eye on if he'll put up bigger #'s now or worse.

But yeah TOs are going to be tough, I have Nash, Amare, D Lee, Mo Will, Kaman all killing me.

Since you want to improve your FT% and 3PTM, I suggest you hold onto Rondo until Kevin Martin comes back and possibly try to trade Rondo for KMart.

Thanks for the response; I am looking at Maget, Martin for FT and Danilo, Lewis for Trey's.

Can someone recommend to me a player search site? This is my first fantasy season, and I am getting pissed at Yahoo's player search/sort.

Should I make a counter offer for Mo + Frye for Rondo; that would be somewhat a ripoff in my favor right?

Landry shoots quite a lot of FT at a fantastic rate [I follow the Rockets]; I don't know where to check how many he shot this year.

Mo + Frye? Massive three point boost
Mo + Landry? Three point + FT + assist downgrade doesn't hurt as much
