so i have gilbert and i have a couple offers im debating between since the risk of this guy getting canned grows greater and greater

smartly by the opposing manager, he has my best player, dwyane wade, in both offers, i guess by taking arenas off my hands he wants to reach for the pedistal.

Two offers are WADE/ARENAS for DIRK/V. CARTER or
WADE/ARENAS for DIRK/J. THOMPSON/AI

if arenas ends up being out for the season, this turns into wade for those 2 offers, and although i would hate to lose Wade, is this a good idea?

Very shrewd of the other guy. I take it he's not very high in the standings, hence his willingness to gamble on Arenas' fate?

The Dirk/V.C. trade isn't bad -- but what's your assist situation after that goes down (may as well post your entire roster)?

And post your opponent's roster too, because I'm thinking you'll want to expand the Dirk/VC trade to a 3-for-3.

as you can see, dirk is definitely appealing for this trade being that my only 2 pfs are tyrus and jeff green who are inconsistent to say the least. VC/DIRK offer is prolly in my best interest as if i took the other deal, im left to start AI or Redd as my only SG....but i wouldnt mind having another PF in thompson either

OK. I think I'd do the VC/Dirk trade if I were you. The two latest tidbits of news surrounding the Arenas situation ...

A) That his guns may not have been legally registered
B) That the league won't wait for a criminal conviction to suspend him

... lead me to believe that you oughta act ASAP.

got damn it this has been the most stressful, difficult decision i ever had to make in all my fantasy bball years.

i took a HUGE gamble wen i took gilbert in the 2nd round of my draft, but i knew dude was on the comeback. he's finally materializing into the stud status he used to be, and now THIS ****. fukin kills me im even mulling either these 2 offers....wats worse is my personal favorite player Wade has to be involved.

Shoulda pulled the trigger. Fantasy owners greatest weakness is falling in love with their players. Dirk's better than Wade and VC's better than Arenas. You should taken it, not only would your team have gotten better, his would've gotten worse.

I have Arenas too. What do I do with him? I'm currently just 2nd not very far at ll behind #1 and my goal is to have all fit playing players by the end of the season. It isn't a very deep league, so I could pick up one of Salmons, Nate, Augustin, Sessions, Udrih, Hill. Do I drop him for Salmons (I'm assuming he's not going to be there next week) or do I wait a while, see if Arenas will be back towards the end of the year?
