Lebron Trade - Should I?

Post#1 » by tic » Tue Jan 19, 2010 10:17 pm

I give up Lebron and Jamal Crawford

I receive Al Jefferson, Loul Deng and Brandon Jennings.

My team is top of field goal % and strong in TO 3PTM and FT% but weak in ST BLKS and PTS.

Thoughts?

Yeah, that's crazy. Lebron does way too much.

Lebron does everything, there's nothign outside of a two for one with 2 players that do two things really well (David Lee, Gerald Wallace, Rajon Rondo, Chauncy Billups, Brook Lopez, etc.) that would be worth trading Lebron for.

So someone else has offered me Granger, Gerald Wallace, Iverson and Charlie V for Lebron and Anthony Morrow....

I'm struggling for blocks and rebounds...

Thoughts?

See if you can get someone better than Iverson otherwise that's a pretty good haul for Bron... who would you be dropping?

Try and get just Granger/Gerald Wallace for Lebron.

Morrow has more value than Iverson and Charlie V.

You have Lebron here, so the ball is in your court as far as negotiating.

If he wants to insist on having Morrow included, then make sure you get back a top 60 player and not two borderline waiver wire scrubs.

If you can pull Granger and Wallace (two top 10 level players) for Lebron that guy is a certified ra tard and you need to pull that trigger fast before he get's hit in the head again w/out his helmet on.

Thanks guys. I pulled the trigger on it. I'm sitting in 8th so my team clearly wasn't working. This trade lets me drop some fringe players while improving the areas that i'm really struggling in - rebounding and blocks, with Wallace while adding Granger goes some way to offsetting the loss of Lebron. Now I just gotta hope they stay healthy!
