If you're playing 9-cat roto, I'd do that trade easily. Gasol is almost as good as Melo and plays a more important position, and Curry and Gallinari are roto gold.

I have a soft spot for Melo because I had him all year until last week, when I finally traded him to get a better fit for my team. But I couldn't even move him straight across for Gasol, let alone getting two huge upgrades at the other positions.

Umm.... pull the trigger.

Carmelo isn't a top 10 player when it comes down to it. The cats he contributes to aren't the "scarce" cats like blocks, steals, assists.

Carmelo at best = Pau Gasol
