The NLL is constantly looking for enthusiastic applicants for our simulation league ran using Wolverine Studios' Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketabll. We are a very active community, driven by media and the contribution of other members, so there is always room for new guys.

At the moment, we have 3 teams we are taking applications for. They are;

Sacramento Kings - It is rare that a team of this caliber becomes available, but the Western conference champs are open for the taking. Led by last year's MVP Kobe Bryant, Elton Brand, and the newest King, Shaq, the Kings sit atop of the West even without a GM for the bulk of the season (due to outside commitments of the GM), and are still dominating.

Toronto Raptors - A powerhouse team which has fallen short this season. Led by superstars Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, this squad's window is closing and we are looking for a GM who is prepared for the challenge of retooling this once dominant team.

Atlanta Hawks - Always a surprise packet, the Hawks are a team which is bound for the playoffs in the tough Eastern conference. Led by Peja and Tony Parker, the Hawks are loaded with a mix of veteran power and youth. A great balanced team for a new GM to take the reigns and choose which path they wish to take.

The NLL is in a league of its own. We sim at a pace which is slower to many other leagues out there (2 days simmed per weekday), however given our current league cycle has been running since 2004 (previously simming with Total Pro Basketball 2005) and our activity is extrememly high amongst all GMs, it is a successful system. We have lots of unique features to keep every GM busy.

Player Agency - Our player agency system is a unique system, copied by many, but never equalled. With three agencies which handle the entire player pool of the NLL, the free agency process extends to all year round. The system is interactive, allowing GMs to pitch to the agent to lure new clients to their squad. It doesn't come without catches though, as GMs must mindful in what they promise to their players, as going back on a promise made in negotiations could sour future relations with the agent. In-season free agency also uses this system, giving the player the chance to set themself up in the most favourable situation for them using the characteristics set out by their DDS personalities.

Rookie Draft - With our rookie commissioner at the head of the system, GMs can workout upcoming rookies all year round. With regular updates including mock drafts, NCAA updates, International news, and more, the rookie drafting process is one of the deepest features in the NLL. With a full collation of rookie profiles, scouting potential targets is easier and funner than ever.

NLL-exclusive awards - While DDS can only do so much in terms of the All Star weekend and post-season awards, the NLL can do so much more. While the 2012 All Star weekend has just passed without a hitch, we allow the GMs to vote their own lineups to represent them. Likewise, all awards go to a league vote.

Media active - We thrive on media. While it is expected all GMs contribute a bit to the NLL in terms of media, we have plenty of interesting contributions from out existing members. With stat gurus publishing insights into John Hollinger's power rankings, PER rankings, team offense/defense ratings, rebound ratings, defensive ratings, +/- ratings, and more. Members also take it upon themselves to contribute their own power rankings, MVP ratings, rookie and even sophomore rankings among many others.

It is a great community to be a part of, and we are always happy to take new members on, regardless of the number of open positions. So come drop in and take a look, I promise you won't be disappointed.

Apologies for the temporary URL, we're in the process of fixing our existing one. So if you would like to be a member, register, but also email me at carmelo15@nllballers.net to confirm you are a legit member and not a spammer. I appreciate your patience with this process, but it is neccessary.

Thanks, and see you at the NLL.
