What happens in a tie situation?

I'm currently in a Fantasy basketball semi-final, yahoo Head to Head.

I'm leading 5-3.

Only two stats are up for grabs with only one half of one game to go and they are block and steals. Blocks currently tied and I lead steals by 2 steals! so it's super close.

I've got Drew Gooden, he's got CJ Watson and Chris Hunter.

I'm just wondering, as at halftime right now Watson has two steals and Hunter has 2 blocks. If that happens again,m he stakes blocks and steals are tied resulting in 4-4 for the semi-final. What decides who goes through to the Grand Final?

In the event that a playoff game ends in a tie, the deadlock is broken using the following system:

- Winning percentage against this opponent during the regular season.
- Playoff seed.

I despise the Yahoo tie breakers. I'm going up against a guy in the finals who owns the tiebreaker on me because my team was ravaged with injuries when I faced him during the regular season.

I have the better team but there's a good chance it ends 5-5. Last year the tie breaker was points which is a lot more reasonable and actually has something to do with the matchup instead of something that happened in December.

Does anyone know what the tie Breaker system is on ESPN.com. I was the 1 seed with the best record and moved on after beating the #4 seed 4-4. He had me beat on head to head matchups by .5 though.

So im thinking the tie breaker system is higher seed or better record?

I personally believe that the higher seed should be the #1 tiebreaker, rather than "who beat who in the regular season"

My leagues typically go with points as the tie-breaker. Who ever has the most points that week wins, after all, whoever scores the most points in a game wins.
