Dan Fegan sells his agency to Blue

Blue Entertainment Sports Television has reached an agreement to buy the practice of Dynasty Sports Group agent Dan Fegan, who represents more than 30 National Basketball Association players including Shawn Marion, Troy Murphy and Jason Terry.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Fegan is one of the few agents to have negotiated more than $1 billion in player contracts, BEST said in a news release.

He will work with agent Bill Strickland to build BEST Basketball, a firm that already represents NBA players Rasheed Wallace, Corey Brewer, Joakim Noah and Donte Green.

BEST is a full-service sports and entertainment company that produces athletic events such as the Boston Marathon and the AVP Beach Volleyball Tour. It also represents athletes, coaches and entertainers.

Among its client lists are singer Janet Jackson, NFL players Reggie Bush and DeAngelo Hall, tennis professionals Andy Roddick and Justine Hennin, Indiana University men’s basketball coach Tom Crean and University of Louisville football coach Steve Kragthorpe.
