Kahn's style.

Post#1 » by raleigh » Tue Jul 13, 2010 5:57 pm

Have you guys ever seen anything quite like what the Wolves are doing?

Assuming the Al Jeff trade goes through and Ridnour is signed to the rumored $16M deal, they have:

1. Beasley, Johnson, Brewer, Love, Flynn, Ellington, and Hayward all on rookie deals.
2. Darko, Webster, Pekovic, Sessions (likely traded), Ridnour, and Hollins all making less than the mid-level.

~$45M for 13 players...most of whom are young, too. Fascinating to this CBA nerd...

Plus they're not very good.

If you want to see how it should be done, take a look at what Sam Presti has done in OKC. Same payroll, young team, but one of the best teams in the West.

Was going to add that, but didn't want to attract defensive Wolves' fans to the CBA board. :)

You could easily argue that Westbrook is better than any on the Wolves' roster.
