A)What would each team under the lux tax get?
B)How much did they earn last year?
I bring this up because I was looking at the salaries for teams this year and the lux tax teams seem to be down just from an over view of it and i'm curious with the bucks being so close to the lux tax if theirs enough incentive to really stay under.
If the Lux tax Revenue sharing was handed out today?

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

There will be a lot more transactions affecting this number as the season progresses, but if you really wanted to know what it is today, wyn's got:

$102,281,853
Divided by 30, each team under the luxury threshold would get a share of $3,409,395

You're right - it probably is. I certainly expect to see some movement of payroll between teams with cap space (like SAC or MIN) or TPE's and teams over the lux. For example, you could see it drop to $3 mil tomorrow if Kroenke wanted his payroll without Melo to be under the lux.
Larry graciously provides lux share number for the last three years. (Is there anything his FAQ can't do?)
2007-08 $3,081,807
2008-09 $2,911,756
2009-10 $3,702,512

it just seems weird that it only dropped 500 grand, considering teams like the knicks and cavs who were big spenders last year have all dropped out of the luxary tax.
If revenue sharing like this were to stay in effect next year, it would be scary thinking teams like Denver/Mavs dropping out and no one else really stepping in

No, you're not dividing by 30 because obviously 30 teams aren't all under luxury threshold. More like 21?.
That's also for last year.

Actually, 30 is the correct divisor regardless of how many teams end up under the tax threshold.
Some or all of any excess funds collected may be reserved by the NBA for "league purposes." Any remaining tax money is distributed to the teams in equal shares.
