NBA Front Office Job

Post#1 » by LuxHeat » Mon Mar 4, 2013 9:21 pm

Don't know if this is the right section but I didn't know where else to ask this question.
I'm studying economics in Europe right now and really love NBA Basketball and the US.
My dream would be to work for the NBA or an NBA team. Does anyone know something about NBA Front Office Jobs and how difficult is it to get in there? Is it very unrealistic without any connections or relations?

Post a link here please. Also there is a certain league where you can test your GM skills http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?board=1034 (based on cba).

Good luck with that. You need to be brilliant at the job, likeable, lucky as hell, and extremely networky with your face time. The latter of these two are the most important.

And it would also help if you were a former player, preferably at the NBA level.

You ask "Is it very unrealistic without any connections or relations?" Unfortunately, the answer is "yes".
