Loserboy Arenas, your quotes were a disagreement on a point. So what? While they skirted the actual issue I brought up, no problem with those. But go look at the rest of the thread, including about the last fourth of it. You then decided that because you made (what you wrongly thought was) a valid rebuttal, you should start attacking me personally, just like you did Dunkenstein earlier in the thread.

You chose to make it personal, not me. If you think everyone has to agree with you or you're gonna get in their face and demean them personally, you'll get personal vitriol in return AND DESERVE all of it. You've shown yourself to be petty and mean-spirited, to one after another here, and then you try to piss on the room when people react. Screw you.

After awhile, if you find the whole world is out of sorts with you, you better look in the mirror for the cause. It's you that's the problem and we're not putting up with your crap anymore until you begin to act like a decent human with those who see things differently than you at times.

If you think you're better than everyone here (as you've expressed several times) it's time for you to leave, because (a) you aren't and (b) you're too classless to deserve to stay.

Laker,

I fail to see why you didn't bother quoting this.

I was just pointing to where I thought this thread turned from discussion to mudslinging.

Back to the original point, what do you think about my idea of a new type of trade exception?

I'm sure he didn't quote that because you proved it was a lie. Over and over.

Or were you saying "What I am trying to do is come in here, insult anyone who disagrees, insult the general posters here as a group, but I don't expect anyone to push back"??????

Doesn't work that way, tiny loser boy. If you didn't want a war, then you shouldn't have started one by insulting one person after another. I made the mistake of believing you, until you started with the insults because I thought some of your points were weak and insupportable. (AND THEY WERE.)

I need you to teach me about the world, from Dallas?

That is comedy.

We don't know each other on that level to really go there, so I'm going to leave it alone.

You obviously have been affected by my words in some way more than you'd be willing to admit.

You keep going on and on, and out of your way even to attempt to insult me.

If you need that to feel better about yourself, do what you gotta do man.

You act like I needed you to co-sign what I was saying.

Get over yourself.

Here you are, addressing something I was asking Laker.

You're not that important, regardless of what Mommy tells you.

You're right, loserboy Arenas. You're nothing more than a tiny pissant. But tiny little pissants are unintelligent and good for nothing.

Hey Dunk.

If anyone cares, Cassell agreed to walk away from $500,000 of the $2.1 million he had left on his contract up to this point.

So true.

I'm afraid to think of the mess that would have to be cleaned up when some of the egos are busted, though.

If we're going to be the "Superfriends group" on this board I call NOT being Aquaman.

arenas809 wrote:Every thread on here, you, and whoever gets involved in a discussion feels the need to measure your internet penises.

That's not true.
In a prior thread, Sham declared very emphatically that he had the biggest e-penis.

IIRC none of us argued with him, so I'm pretty sure that has become established truth and the reason we don't go through that measuring exercise you describe.

I was asked maybe 2 years ago now if I wanted to mod one of two (or both) of the non-team RealGM forums, but since I wasn't a regular reader of those particular boards, I declined. I instead offered my services for my own team board, but apparently we didn't need another mod at the time and I also said I would be willing to moderate the CBA board as well but I was told we didn't need a moderator here due to our low level of activity and good behavior :)

Depending on how much two of RealGM's commissioners who post here from time to time actually lurk here though, we might already have "de facto mods" if you will

Actually it's the exhorbitant contracts given to underperforming or over-the-hill players that are tainting the game. Absent those contracts, there would be virtually no buyouts.

What's really tainting the game are all the altercations players are getting into with regular patrons and management at strip clubs. Maybe the NBA should put "off-limit" signs on offending establishments in NBA cities, like the do in towns near military bases.

Cassell, 38, agreed to forfeit about half of the $1.7 million remaining on his $6.1 million contract, which amounts to about $850,000.
