just a question, for 1st round picks this is the structure of their contract(pls correct me if im wrong)

year 1 - guaranteed
year 2 - guaranteed
year 3 and 4 - team option
5th year - either sign to an extension(RFA) or qualifying offer that will make them UFA

for 2nd round picks, i don't know the structure of their contracts. how is it? can anybody answer me?

Not quite. You can either:

a) sign them to an extension in the offseason between their third and fourth season,
b) let them go to free agency without a qualifying offer (making them a UFA), or
c) give them a qualifying offer and have them go into free agency as a RFA.

B rarely happens. A largely happens only to good/great players. C is the more ommon occurence.

For 2nd round picks, i don't know the structure of their contracts. how is it? can anybody answer me?

There isn't one. You are free to sign them to whatever you so choose. As long as they accept it, of course.

Add 2nd rdrs - isn't it that if a team wants to sign a 2nd rdr for more than the minimum they have to use 'something' ie cap space or MLE portion etc? I'm thinking Marc Gasol for instance at 3 mil.

^ that is a good question. I was wondering about that myself.

You can sign a second rounder for whatever the hell you want, as long as you have the cap space/exceptions to do it. You can sign them for the maximum if you're suitably rich and insane.
