Expansion in the NBA.

Post#1 » by The Beam King » Mon Nov 17, 2014 5:00 am

I think the NBA should expand to 32 teams. Go back to 2 conferences with a total of 4 divisions. Add a team in Seattle and Las Vegas and shift Memphis into the Eastern Conference.

I don't mind this proposal at all. Memphis, or NO, should be in the East for sure.

I would consider swapping Toronto and Charlotte in the redesigned East. Not a necessity, but just something to consider.

Reduce the number of division winners from 6 to 4 each year? Won't happen.

I would imagine MIN would love to be in the east, and are quite close to nearby Milwaukee and Chicago - natural rivals from the NFL. I believe I read something that no team travels farther each year than MIN.

Not sure watering the league down now would be a good idea, but wouldn't be surprised to see something like this in a few more years.
