Does this change with the cap going up? I can't remember, are vet minimums different than 2nd round or undrafted FA minimums?

Independent from the cap. They are on a set scale under this CBA.

The Rookie Minimum is: $543,471

The 1 Year of Service Minimum is: $874,636

The 2 Year Minimum (which is what a lot of the Veteran Minimum signings are covered under) is: $980,431.

The vets with 2 or more years of service are paid their actual minimum, but a 1 year contract counts aganst the cap at $980,431.

Set by CBA, for each year, to the penny. Minimum is determined by what season it is, as well as how many years of service the player has. In certain circumstances, the NBA may pay part of the salary. The numbers are in a chart in the FAQ, cbafaq.com, as well as a discussion somewhere of how minimums work.
