Are playoff rosters going to be 15 players this year? If not, why?
They should allow 15 players to be eligible nightly regular season and playoffs. In the past they weren't allowed to dress everyone either. What is there to lose in that scenario?

You are mixing a question with an opinion.
To answer the question: No. There is no change to the number of players you can dress nightly from the regular season to the playoffs.
As for your opinion, I tend to agree. The idea of an inactive list in any sport, minus true injured reserve/disabled lists, is kind of old fashioned to me. I asked a few executives about it in the NBA and the feeling was that it was put in for a competitive balance reason to make sure that no one could ever have more players available, since one team or another is always missing someone due to injury. When the NBA eliminated the injury list a while back, they went this direction. It is probably something that could use further tweaking, and has seen some with increasing from 12 to 13 active spots.

Re: Playoffs rosters
Thanks for the answer.
If it's for competitive balance imo teams should be able to still change there eligible players within their 15 guys from game to game in the regular season and playoffs. If a team has injuries in the playoffs they should be able to pickup someone else (it's probably already the case for emergency situations) but the person taken off the roster should be ineligible for the rest of the playoffs similar to the NFL IR list. There would have to be more details but that's the premise.
