Draft night trade ineligible for supermax?
Since only draft team can offer supermax if a player is drafted by team (a) and traded that night is said player now ineligible for supermax?

No, since they don't actually sign the contract on draft night.

It wouldn't matter, because they haven't signed. But players can be traded as long as they are still on their Rookie Scale deal. For example, if the Knicks were to trade Porzingis, the team acquiring him could sign him to the new DPVE, because they would have acquired him while he was still on his Rookie Scale contract.
