Lets say a team has 2 million left in cap space and lets assume the MLE is gonna be 5.8 mill this year.
Would it be possible to take the 2 million in cap space and put it together with the MLE?

Would it be possible to offer a player 7.8 million(MLE + cap space)?

In addition to the "no,' a team never gets its Cap Exceptions along with having cap space. You have either one or the other, but you never have both in the same summer.
