How much are players paid during playoffs?
Is it the same per-game rate they receive for regular season games?

Or is that increased for the first round playoffs, then increased more for second round, etc.?
Are they paid even more per-game for Finals games?

They aren't....

Well, there's an NBA salary pool for the playoffs, so the further a team goes, the more money that team makes. However, the amounts received are really small (small in terms of NBA players not regular people).

Some player's contracts have incentive clauses depending on playoff success/awards.

On the order of 30-50K per game. I heard this a few years ago. Likely still in the same range.

Wow, didn't know about the playoff salary pool, or that the per game salaries would be that low compared to some players regular season per-game salary.

That really rewards the team ownership to go deep into the playoffs even more because it is financially advantageous when they get to host home games and don't have to pay out nearly as much in player salary.

The owners don't have to pay ANYTHING extra in player salaries for the playoffs. The playoff pools come from the league office.

BTW, the entire playoff pool for this season is $11 million.
