Trade Exceptions

Post#1 » by coolness » Mon Aug 17, 2009 1:51 pm

1. Can a team use 2 or more trade exceptions in one single trade?

2. Can a team receive 2 or more players back for a tpe or does it have to be 1 player?

3. Can a team use the tpe combined with a player to trade for sb who makes more than the tpe?

4. If a team uses a $10 million tpe for a $5 million player, do they retain a $5 million tpe?

5. Anything else practical I didn't ask about trade exceptions?

1. Probably not in the way you are asking. They can receive two players using two different TPEs as part of a larger overall trade, as long as they both work individually.

2. Yes

3. No

4. Yes

5. This isn't a question, it is a statement?

Thanks ModernEpic. :)

#5 was a question.
I wondered what else I needed to know to accurately pull off fan-boy trades with TPE's.
That makes my use of the word 'practical' kinda suspect, but still.

Have you read #69 and #69 in Larry Coon's FAQ?

I think Freud might have something to say about your post there, Dunk.
