I have heard numerous rules for a Sign/trade deal. Could someone clarify?

1.) S/t player must agree to go to team
2.) 2 s/t players cannot be part of the same deal.
3.) Can a team trade a s/t with a draft pick

1) Yep. It's more like a free agency signing than a trade.

2) They can. It's just harder to do. Ben Wallace and Chucky Atkins for Grant Hill is one example of it happening.

3) This question doesn't really make sense. If you're asking if a team can immediately turn around a player acquired via sign and trade, then no. If you're asking if you can sign and trade a player along with a draft pick, then yes you can.

I assumed on 3 he meant sign and trade a rookie. Which would be no.

No. I meant if you had a free agent you were s/t could you attach a pick.

Sure. Dallas did it with Van Horn.
