I've kind of been out of the loop lately with coursework and all, does anyone remember the exact amounts these guys were signed for?

I'm trying to update my NBA 2k10 rosters so they accurate reflect player salaries...

According to the sources enclosed (which may or may not be correct), the deals were:

David Lee: 1 year / $7,500,000 (excluding a $500,000 unlikely bonus if NYK makes the playoffs)

Nate Robinson: 1 year / $4,000,000

Hey Sham,
How come you haven't updated your Knicks page to include Robinson's and Lee's salaries? Seriously, you're usually so current with the latest salary info.

What I've heard is that Robinson did get $4M, but Lee's $7.5M contract includes a $500K unlikely bonus.

I assume you were simply misinterpreting my english but to be more clear, my understanding is that David Lee’s salary is $7.5 million plus an additional $0.5 million bonus if the knicks make the playoffs (for a possible $8.0 million total).

As per Art VII, Sec 3(d)(1), such a bonus would be considered an “unlikely bonus” because the knicks did not make the playoffs last season. As per Art I (rrr), unlikely bonuses are excluded from player salaries.

I wasn't misinterpreting your English. I was correcting your misinformation. I know what an unlikely bonus is. Lee has a guarantee of $7M with a $500K unlikely bonus.

Thanks Dunkenstein.

I want to apologize, by the way, if my post was seen as anything but helpful. (I just re-read my own words and noticed the potential for them to be interpreted otherwise... and wanted to assure you it was not my intention).

Thanks dawgs, as difficult as it is I try to play these sim basketball games as realistically as possible so incorrect contract amounts is one of my pet peeves.
